I will tell you your age......................
Don't tell me your age; Your waiter may know! I WILL TELL YOU YOUR AGE BY DINER & RESTAURANT MATHThis is pretty neat.DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!It takes less than a minute. Work this out as you read ... Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out! This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat.(more than once but less than 10)2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) 3. Add 54. Multiply it by 505. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1757...If you haven't, add 1756.6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number.The first digit of this was your original number. (I.e., How many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.)The next two numbers are YOUR AGE ! ------ (Oh YES, it is!!!) THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2007) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS
On love::some readables
A very good and wise friend once wrote these following words to me and I now have them on the original slip of paper,on my cupboard door to remind me of the amazing power of love.These are the words: " My perception of how people see me is determined by the condition or state my own heart is in, but very often someone's unconditional love to me can alter the way I see myself."Love from our family and friends is wonderful, but it is often that unexpected show of love from a stranger that moves our hearts towards them and God. Enjoy reading further about these quotes on love from various cultures.There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear.John 4:18"...Yes,I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you."Jeremiah 31:3"At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet."PlatoIf you judge people, you have no time to love them."Mother TheresaHatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.Proverbs 10:12"True love cannot be found where it truly does not exist,Nor can it be hidden where it truly does."anonymous quote"The greatest love a person can have for his friends is to give his life for them."John 15:13"Whoso loves believes the impossibleElizabeth Barrett BrowningFriends always show their love. What are brothers for if not to share troubles?"Proverbs 17:17"To love a person is to learn the song that is in their heart, and to sing it to them when they have forgotten."Anonymous"Where love is, no room is too small."Talmud"Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale."anonymousJust because someone doesn't love you in the way you want them to,doesn't mean that they don't love you with all they've got. "author unknown"And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all...."1 Thessalonians 3:12"Behold you are fair, my love! Behold you are fair! You have dove's eyes."Song of Solomon 1:15"....his banner over me was love."Song of Solomon 2:4"Many waters cannot quench love,Nor can the floods drown it.If a man would give for loveAll the wealth of his house,It would be utterly despised."Song of Solomon 8:7"Many waters cannot quench this little spark which the Lord hath kindled,neither shall the floods of persecution drown it."Charles Wesley"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."1 Corinthians 13:13"We cannot measure the love He showers on our souls who give and abandon themselves to Him,and who have no higher aspiration than to do all that they believe to be pleasing to Him."Jeanne de Chantal"Love is caviar and wedding cake,Strawberries and cream.Love is champagne.Friendship is new bread, fresh butter,farmhouse cheese and a pot of tea for two.Of course, to get through life,it's best to combine the two.But friendship is easier on the digestion."Pam Brown"So long as we love we serve;So long as we are loved by others,I would almost say that we are indispensable;And no man is useless while he has a friend."
Love v/s Marriage!
Love is holding hands in the street. Marriage is holding arguments in the street. Love is cuddling on a sofa. Marriage is one of them sleeping on a sofa. Love is talking about having children. Marriage is talking about getting away from children. Love is going to bed early. Marriage is going to sleep early. Love is losing your appetite. Marriage is losing your figure. Love is sweet nothing in the ear. Marriage is sweet nothing in the bank. TV has no place in love. Marriage is a fight for remote control. Love is 1 drink and 2 straws. Marriage is "Don't you think you've had enough!". Conclusion: "Love is blind , Marriage is an eye opener!"

LOVE vs INFATUATION
Young people are often confused and unable to discern the frustrating flush of the magical experience of “falling in love”.Infatuation is the initial, instant attraction and intense desire for a person of the opposite sex.Love is a friendship that has caught fire. It takes root, develops and grows one day at a time. The process is slow.Infatuation lacks confidence. When he/she is away you wonder if he/she is cheating you. Sometimes you check perhaps even discreetly.Love means trust. You are calm, secure and unthreatened. Your beloved feels the same also and this makes both even more trustworthy.Infatuation is marked by a feeling of insecurity. You are excited and eager, but not genuinely happy. There are nagging doubts, unanswered questions or some unclear actions about your beloved that you would not like to examine too closely. It might spoil the dream.Love is quiet understanding and mature acceptance of imperfection. It is real. It gives you strength and grows beyond you to bolster your beloved. You are warmed by his/her presence even when he/she is away. Miles of distance do not separate you. You want him/her nearer, but near or far, you know he/she is yours and you can wait.Infatuation has an element of sexual excitement. If you are honest, you can admit it is difficult to be in one another’s company, for the underlying fear that it will end in intimacy.Love is the maturation of friendship. You are confident that you must be friends before you can be lovers.Infatuation is usually temporary and eventually fades. It, however, might lead you to do things you will regret later, but love never will.Love is an upper. It makes you look up. Love usually lasts longer and goes deeper than strong sexual Feelings. It makes you think up and makes you a better person.Infatuation makes you feel anxious, nervous and jealous. You feel convinced that you can’t live without the other person. You are unable to see the person for who they really are because he/she is perfect in your eyes.Love makes you feel excited. You are willing to respect the other person’s opinions and accept the good or bad qualities. You share similar values and beliefs and you see the person for who they really are.Infatuation says, “We must get married right away! I can’t risk losing you!”Love says, “Be patient. Do not panic. Plan your future with confidence. There are rewards in waiting.”

What is love ??
( I got this through the mail from one of my friends )A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?"The answers got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:____________________"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore.So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."Rebecca- age 8____________________ "When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different.You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."Billy - age 4____________________ "Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."Karl - age 5____________________"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."Chrissy - age 6____________________"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."Terri - age 4____________________ "Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."Danny - age 7____________________ "Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more.My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"Emily - age 8____________________"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)____________________ "If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,"Nikka - age 6(we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)____________________"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."Noelle - age 7____________________ "Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."Tommy - age 6____________________ "During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling.He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore."Cindy - age 8____________________"My mommy loves me more than anybody .You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night."Clare - age 6____________________"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken."Elaine-age 5____________________ "Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."Chris - age 7____________________"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."Mary Ann - age 4____________________"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones."Lauren - age 4____________________"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." (what an image)Karen - age 7____________________ "You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."Jessica - age 8____________________And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge.The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, " Nothing, I just helped him cry "
Five Fingures of Praye
1. Your thumb is nearest to you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember.
2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction.
3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion.
4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain.
5. And lastly comes our little finger; the smallest finger of all. Which is where we should place ourselves in relation to GOD and others. Your pinky should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.
